Welcome to your class wiki! We will use this to share ideas and work with each other. You will post everything from thesis statements to free writing assignments. You will comment on the work your peers post and you will have some assignments that will only be turned in on the wiki. Emailed documents will not be accepted.

Weekly Wiki Guidelines

The Weekly Wiki is a student-generated record and discussion board of what we do and create in class--a virtual, continuously accessible notebook for the entire class. Each week, two students will be responsible for building and updating the Wiki to reflect what we've accomplished in class.
  • The Weekly Wiki pair will earn a test grade for their contribution to the class wiki.
  • The Wiki must be updated each class day by midnight, so we will have one entry for each day that we have class.
  • Related documents must be imported from the class Edline page and pasted into the Wiki.
  • A quality entry will review and summarize discussion contributions made by students.
  • A quality entry will be detailed, free from grammar and spelling slips, and visually appealing.
  • Students are referred to only by first name.
  • All comments and discussions are appropriate and respectful. Using the Wiki for discussion and comments negative in tone and/or unrelated to the course will result in a failing grade for the assignment. This space is an extension of our classroom and should be treated as such.

Course Syllabus:

Film Permission Slip: THIS is part ONE of your first assignment. Print this permission slip, get it signed, turn it in ASAP.

Part Two of your first assignment is to download and fill out this form. Then, post YOUR document on the discussion part of this page. Do not make a new page. Make sure it is in the proper format so everyone can view your document. Then, post on the discussion board about TWO other forms in this class. This is the sort of stuff that will count toward your participation points.
